Frequently asked questions about Al Ambra

No. This is an unofficial guide by FragranceGems B.V., a Dutch shop that resells Al Ambra perfumes in the EU. The brand does not run this site and has not approved it. The brand's own website is alambraperfumes.com.

No. FragranceGems is an independent reseller: it is not affiliated with Al Ambra and not authorised by the brand. Al Ambra lists its own authorised partners on its official website, alambraperfumes.com.

The brand writes its name as Al Ambra. On some labels the two words stand so close together that it reads as Alambra, which is also how the address of this site is spelled. “Al Hambra” and “Alhambra” are spellings people type when searching. Read Al Ambra or Alhambra?

No. Maison Alhambra is a different perfume brand, and this guide does not cover it. The scents described here, such as Dubai Musk and Ravenna, are by Al Ambra.

On 3 October 2026 the brand's own website listed 50 spray perfumes. 49 of them come with a note list and have a page in this guide: 29 extraits de parfum and 20 eaux de parfum. The brand also lists eleven perfume oils in 10 ml, and bakhoor and fabric sprays for the home. See all Al Ambra perfumes.

The whole range: every perfume for which the brand publishes notes, each on its own page. Every page says whether FragranceGems sells that scent. The shop sells four: Dubai Musk, Black Forest, Black Forest Elixir and Ravenna.

The product pictures were supplied by FragranceGems, the publisher of this guide: for every scent the bottle, and the bottle with its box. Should a scent ever have no picture, a drawing made for this guide stands in and is marked “Illustration”.

No. There is no basket and no checkout. The “Shop Al Ambra at FragranceGems” button opens the Al Ambra page of the FragranceGems shop; that is where you order.

Not through the shop at the moment. You can request a fragrance at FragranceGems; the shop reads every request, but a request is not an order and no promise that the scent will be added.

Prices are not shown on this site because they change. For the four scents in the shop, the product page shows the current price.

Stock changes, so it is not shown on this site, and a scent that is listed is not necessarily available. The product page in the shop shows whether a scent can be ordered today.

50 ml and 100 ml, and each scent comes in one of the two. The four scents in the shop are 50 ml bottles (1.7 fl oz). See sizes and samples.

50 ml. That is what the label says; only the web address of the shop's product page mentions 100 ml. Sizes and samples explains it.

At our last check, on 3 October 2026, the shop listed no sample, decant or set of any Al Ambra scent.

The range has both: 29 extraits de parfum and 20 eaux de parfum in this guide. The four in the shop are all extraits according to the labels and the brand's own product pages. On Dubai Musk and Black Forest that is printed on the front label; for Ravenna and Black Forest Elixir it comes from the brand's pages. The shop still files Ravenna and Black Forest as eau de parfum.

An extrait de parfum contains a higher concentration of fragrance oil than an eau de parfum. It says nothing by itself about how far a scent carries.

Another perfume, not a stronger version. The two share a name and one listed note, ambroxan. See Black Forest or Black Forest Elixir.

The brand itself names no other perfume as an inspiration for any scent of its range, so this guide names none. Read what “inspired by” means here.

We have no measurements of our own. The brand's own product pages give a range in hours for nearly every scent, from 6–8 hours at the low end to 10–12 hours at the high end; the page of each scent quotes the brand's figure. How long you keep noticing a scent differs from skin to skin.

From Dubai. According to the brand's own website it has been based there since 2016, and its product pages give the United Arab Emirates as the country of origin.

FragranceGems delivers to 25 EU countries and not to the United Kingdom or the United States. The list of countries and the delivery estimates are on where to buy.

According to the shop's shipping policy: 5–8 business days in total for EU destinations (2–3 to process, 3–5 in transit), and 3–6 business days within the Netherlands through the Dutch shop.
