About Al Ambra Ravenna
Ravenna opens with lemon, bergamot, orange, pineapple and mango. Three citrus fruits and two tropical ones: no other Al Ambra scent lists as many fruits at the top. The heart turns to spice and flower with ginger, cinnamon and Tunisian neroli; neroli is the oil distilled from bitter orange blossom. The base is black tea, guaiac wood, rosemary and ambroxan: a dry tea note, a smoky wood, an aromatic herb and ambroxan, the mineral, ambergris-like molecule that also appears in Black Forest and Black Forest Elixir.
The shop and the brand list exactly the same notes for Ravenna, which is not true of every Al Ambra scent in the shop. Nine of them appear in none of the other three: lemon, pineapple, mango, ginger, cinnamon, neroli, black tea, guaiac wood and rosemary. In the whole range, mango, black tea and rosemary are named by Ravenna alone.
The shop lists Ravenna as unisex and files it under the citrus, fresh, oriental and woody families; it is the only one of its four Al Ambra scents that the shop calls fresh. For seasons the shop names summer, autumn and winter. Al Ambra's own page gives no season and no figures for how long the scent lasts.

The link with Al Ambra Green Forest is bergamot, ginger and cinnamon. Ravenna sets lemon, orange, pineapple and mango beside that, the other one grapefruit, black currant, cardamom and citron.
Al Ambra Imperium overlaps in lemon, bergamot and cinnamon. Its own notes are lavender, mint, pear and clary sage, against orange, pineapple, mango and ginger here. It is an extrait de parfum in 100 ml.
The link with Al Ambra Dawn is bergamot and ambroxan. Ravenna sets lemon, orange, pineapple and mango beside that, the other one coriander, apple, vanilla and tonka bean.
Ravenna by Al Ambra, or Ravenna Alhambra?
It is Ravenna by Al Ambra. The label carries the name Ravenna above the words Al Ambra Perfumes. People reach this page with many spellings of both words: Ravena, Raveena, Revenna, Revena and Revana for the scent, and Alambra, Al Hambra, Alhambra and El Ambra for the brand.
