What orange blossom is
Orange blossom is the flower of the bitter orange tree: sweet, white-floral and slightly honeyed. The same flower gives two materials. Extracted with solvents it becomes orange blossom absolute, which is warm and rich; distilled with steam it becomes neroli, which is greener.
Its distilled form has a page of its own, neroli, and jasmine is the white flower most often listed with it.
